Austin Willacy Austin Willacy's strong tenor lead voice is familiar to anyone who has heard a House Jacks CD. His songwriting and vocal skills are showcased on all of their major recordings (Naked Noise, Naked Funk Funkwich, Drive, Unbroken, and Fitchy & Grikko). He wrote the classic House Jack originals "Thread," "All Of My Life," "Dirt" and "Palm Sunday".

Born in Washington D.C. and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Austin received a degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College, where he sang with, and directed, The Dartmouth Aires before moving to San Francisco to refine his songwriting and pursue a career in music.

Austin signed to APG Records and released american pi, his debut CD featuring his original material which has garnered uniformly positive reviews, and has already resulted in serious acclaim:

In addition to being a featured artist on MP3.com, myplay.com, tucows.com, thatslive.com, riffage.com, ubl.com, listen.com, vitaminic.com and garageband.com, Austin produced an award-winning 5-song demo and a brand new, full-length CD for ‘Til Dawn, a Bay Area teen vocal group.
